Why did we need to bring ‘INSUL by AgVa’ in Market?

There are more than 1 crore (10 million) diabetics in India who are insulin dependent and would benefit from an Insulin pump. However, due to exorbitant costs of the existing pumps in the market only a miniscule number can afford to busy and use these pumps.

How much does an ‘INSUL by AgVa’ cost?

Insul by Agva costs 1/10th the price of existing pumps. Even the disposables cost 1/10 of the competitors which makes it affordable to almost everyone who needs it.

Why should you use ‘INSUL by AgVa’?

Any patient who is insulin dependent would benifit from Insul by AgVa. Even patients who are on oral medication for diabetes and have frequent fluctuations of blood sugar requiring intermittent Insulin therapy would benefit from Insul by Agva.

How can I reserve my INSUL by AgVa?

To reserve your Insul by AgVa, you need to go to the Insul by AgVa website and follow these tips:

1) Sign up yourself and go to the pre-order option.
2) Go to “Add to cart” option and select the quantity of insulin pump
3) Then click the “proceed to checkout” option.
4) You need to pay Rs 499 from any mode of payment
5) Now your Insul by AgVa is reserved

If I reserve now, when will I get the delivery?

If you reserve now, the deliveries will tentatively be available in the first quarter of 2024. We will keep you informed and update you closer to the actual delivery date.

How much does an INSUL by AgVa cost?

An Insul by AgVa costs Rs 49999 and as an introductory offer, AgVa Healthcare is providing 50% discount for the first 10,000 preorders. One can preorder by paying a completely refundable Rs 499 booking amount. This amount will be adjusted in the final price charged from the customer.

What is included in INSUL by AgVa?

INSUL by AgVa includes an insulin pump and consumables such as one infusion set and plunger, and one set of 50 glucose monitoring strips. Also included is one set of Duracell AA cells.

How do I purchase an INSUL by AgVa?

As of now, AgVa Healthcare is only providing pre order for insulin pumps that will be delivered to your home in the first quarter of 2024. The booking cost (refundable) is just Rs 499.

➤ Sign up there and enter all requirements

➤ Select the quantity of insulin pump

I have booked by insulin pump. When my insulin pump will be delivered?

Your Insulin pump will be tentatively delivered in the first quarter of 2024. We will keep you informed and update you closer to the actual delivery date.

What are the financing/ loan options available for purchasing the INSUL by AgVA? How can I opt for financing?

There will be attractive financing options available for purchasing INSUL by AgVa. We are currently finalising the options and will update this reply nearer to the date of the final payment.

Do we have to pay extra for the consumables?

Yes, the total cost is inclusive of an insulin pump and one set of consumables. But, consumables such as the infusion set need to be changed every two weeks, therefore, consumables are recurring expenditures. You can order the infusion sets at very economical rates online from the website

What are the payment methods that are available for making the balance payments?

Insul by AgVa accepts all the payment modes like UPI, net banking, debit card, credit card, cardless EMI, bank transfer, E Mandate, Pay later  Mastercard, Visa cards, Rupay debit cards, EMI-credit card EMI, debit card EMI, and no-cost EMI.

How do I view the delivery date after making the balance payment?

The delivery date will be informed to you via email or you can check it on the “My Account” option on Insul by AgVa website.

When do I make the balance payment for my insulin pump?

You will have to pay the balance amount one week before the final delivery. This will be informed to you through your mail. If you have any difficulty, you can contact us here https://insul.agvahealthcare.in/contact/

How do I opt for financing during the final payment for my insulin pump?

The final payment page will have options for EMI and applicable interest charges. you can choose the desired plan.

How much interest will I have to pay if I opt for financing through Insul by AgVa?

You will be paying no interest charges for 6 months EMI. For longer EMI’s, nominal interest charges will be applicable.

What documents are accepted as proof of address?

The documents vary from one financing company to another. We will update this answer on finalisation of financing options closer to the date of final payment.

What will happen if I am not eligible for a loan during the balance payment?

In case you are not eligible for financing/loan, you have the option of having the pre-booking amount refunded in full. Alternatively, you can make the full payment when asked for.

After full payment and prior to shipping, changes can be made to the order. Unfortunately, after order is shipped, no changes can be married to the booking

How can I cancel my reservation/purchase?

You can easily cancel a reservation/purchase anytime you want by going on “My Accounts”.

Can I change the details of that person I want the insulin pump to be registered to?

Yes. You can change it through “My accounts”. Or else you can contact us anytime, we will be there for you:  Contact us.

What happens after my warranty period ends?

You can extend the warranty period for a total of 4 years. There is nominal charge for extending the warranty.

What is the maximum number of days I can use a single needle or disposable?

You can use the needle & disposable set for a maximum of 2 weeks.

What is the process for getting a refill? What type of insulin can I use?

You can buy insulin from the market as prescribed by your doctor if you need a refill.

What is the maximum time/days that can be accumulated from a single 500-unit refill?

If one uses 20 units per day the insulin will  last for more than 2 weeks

Where can I purchase disposable accessories?

How long does a machine's battery last?

We recommend using an alkaline battery that lasts for 7 to 10 days, depending on the usage.

What is the procedure for replacing a dead battery?

You can replace the battery by unscrewing the pump, removing the dead battery, and putting in a new one.

How much does it cost for disposables in a month?

Approximately Rs 500/ month

What is the best way to detect a malfunctioning machine?

If the machine is not powering up despite a new battery, you need to contact support for troubleshooting the issue.

What is the cost of changing any accessory on the machine/part?

All spare parts are covered in warranty and will be replaced free of cost.

Are needles made of metal or plastic? What is the maximum time it can be used in the same area?

These needles are made up of special metal and can be used for up to 2 weeks

How painful are those needles?

These needles are painless.

Is my AgVa Insul automatic?

Yes.

What is the time it takes for my body's sugar levels to be detected?

A pump does not detect sugar levels. For this, you have to use a glucometer.
